SUG PRESIDENT FEDERAL UNIVERSITY WUKARI CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY: SPOTLIGHT ON THE LIFE OF THE ALUTA GENERAL.
Becoming a great leader is more about the inner qualities you possess than the titles you are given. While a person may be in charge of managing people or heading a project, a genuine leader is one who can inspire others to accomplish a significant task.
Being a good leader is something you learn and perfect with diligence, compassion, persistence, and experience.
The life of Rt. Comr. Audu Buvini Samson, the incumbent president, Students' Union Government, Federal University Wukari has been a glamorous one so far. A life built on good leadership and provision of selfless services to students' welfare and development.
The most phenomenal is the few number of years the "birthday boy" has lived, and the manifolds of achievements he has recorded to his credit, attesting to the biblical stance of the irrelevance of age to good leadership.
In 1 Timothy 4:12, the Bible posits, βLet no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.β
The life journey of the veteran unionist began on 14th September 1999. Born to the family of Mr/Mrs. Audu Douglas Tanko of Wukari Local Government, Comr. Samson had his primary education at Campbell Nursery and Primary School, Wukari. His dream to acquire knowledge, coupled with his parents' uncompromising taste for quality education garnered his entrance into the defunct St. Patrick Secondary School, now Bishop Patrick Sheehan Memorial College, and also Excel Model Secondary School, both of Wukari town for further studies. Scaling through the rigorous academic requirements of admission into the university,the Aluta Pilot was admitted into the well-acclaimed department of Food Science and Technology, where he currently undertakes studies.
In the prestigious Federal University Wukari where the celebrant superintends the activities of the vertex students' body, the Students' Union Government, he is respected by all students for his outmost humility and selflessness towards the provision of quality leadership for all Crocs: good virtues which have elevated him to an admirable fora amongst his contemporaries.
The whilom president, faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Federal University Wukari is revered for his prompt response to students' plights, a great mobilizer to the core, a prototype of a visionary leader, an enbodiment of love and generosity.
Being the pioneer Mr. Wukari International, Comr. Samson is generally known for his constant decorum, compassionate personage, and respect for rules and regulations.
He is an Arsenal fanatic,a lover of modeling, an ardent reader and a unionist, whose world view has been positively affected by the aforementioned.
As the Aluta General clocks a year older, the Students' Union Government and all students of the Federal University Wukari have the overweening confidence that he will extract bountifully from his pool of experiences to consolidate on his vision and mission for all Crocs, making the campus a robust and healthy place to live. This year's birthday promises to be fully committed to the provision of quality services to all students: protecting the interest of all students towards academic excellence, social security and self discovery.
