SUG FEDERAL UNIVERSITY WUKARI FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM STUDENTS ON EID-EL-MAULUD CELEBRATION
President, Students' Union Government, Federal University Wukari, Rt. Comr. Audu Buvini Samson has on behalf of his exco, and the loving students of the university, felicitated with all Muslim students on the celebration of Eid-el-Maulud.
This was contained in a goodwill message signed by the union's leadership to commemorate this year's special festivity of the birth of Prophet Muhammed.
The union in the message eulogized the peaceful and harmonious relationship of divergent religions on campus(Christianity and Islam), stressing that the intriguing atmosphere of love and understanding saturating the university environment spurs social growth and development.
According to the president, the Muslim faithfuls of the Federal University Wukari embody respect for constituted authority, hardwork, love and understanding. He averred Muslim students as being an integral part of the university community, retierating his commitment to providing an enabling atmosphere where all students would excel, irrespective of religion, tribe and creed.
While praying God to bless them with all their heart desires as they celebrate the festival, the Aluta Pilot equally wished them a hitch-free and memorable celebration, admonishing them to utilize the period to pray for the well-being of the university, and Nigeria at large.
