Miss Matric. Federal University Wukari, HRM. Cynthia Agbara has emerged as Queen of the 4th edition of the Igede Carnival (2022-2023), held in Oju, Benue state.
Confirming the development, the Students' Union Government, Federal University Wukari through its president, Rt. Comr. Audu Buvini Samson expressed joy over the victory, congratulating Miss Cynthia for the well-deserved victory.
The SUG boss cum erstwhile Mr. Wukari International expressed pleasure over the news, stating vehemently that the victory is one for the entire university. He said it would "regenerate the sociocultural aspect of the Igede nation and restore lost glories, dwelling on the cultural and social know-how of the new queen".
Remember that Miss Cynthia Agbara had prior to her enthronement as the new Queen of Igede Carnival emerged the Miss Matric., Federal University Wukari in a keenly tussled pageantry contest put in place by the Students' Union Government to commemorate the 2021/2022 Matriculation exercise.
While charging the winner to step up to duty by introducing programs targetted at affecting the entire Igede nation positively, the SUG equally wishes her a successful and memorable reign, pigeonholed by transparency, decency, hardwork and selflessness.
He penultimately lauded the Senator representating Benue South, Sen. Abba Moro for redeeming his pledge of a car as star prize, expressing optimism that from the pool of experiences the winner has fetched from so far in the university, she would bring the desired change needed to reposition the Igede nation.
