The 2023 Student week was one of the lightful event to kick start 2023 on campus as the SUG president in person of Audu Samson Buvini make sure he didn't left no stone unturned as he rounds up his office as SUG president
The SUG Student week which started on Thursday 26th January whereby students display rags and old school on campus,that was very successful as many students love what they performed on that day.
The Student week then started properly on Friday 27th January with an early morning marathon race followed by a Novelty match between the Student Affairs of fuwukari and the SUG excos. The match ended 2-0 in favour of Student Affiars of the school.
There came in the evening whereby events like cooking competition in which was done by faculties,the eating competition and talent hunt. Interestingly the faculty of pure and Applied science won the cooking competition whereby they were regarded as the best cooks.
There was eating competition and talent hunt which was contested and won by individuals. That is how the day went smoothly.
Then came the day 2 of Saturday 28th of January whereby various traditional dances took place,like the Ichen, Jukum,Tiv and the rest others. That went successfully and a politicial talk show was done by 5pm prior to the beginning of the Mr and Miss University fuw.
The biggest event of the student week then came to be as the new Mr and Miss University fuw was crown ๐. The event covered alot of exicting activities like dance,music, fashion parade, contestants and many more. There was also award presentation in different categories. The event was fantastic ๐ฅ
