The outcome of the interface between the Student Union Government (SUG) and the school management over the increment of school fees.
The primordial aim and objective of a student union in school is for acute representation of students. The union serve as a medium through which the cries and yearns of the students are heard. However, having a truest, honest and competent leader is the only true mechanism through which the opinions of the students will be heard and attended to.
The gigantic effort of the SUG under the leadership of Comr Rimamndeyati Darlynton Musa is one that needs a thumps up. We are indeed lucky to have this set of people at the forefront, advocating for the students welfare in all sincerity.
The recent increment in school fees which has generated a public out cry from the students, has, as was promised by the SUG, been discussed and the good news is that, the demands of the students are met. Here is the resolution proper:
"We have met with the management. The resolution is this.. school fee will be payed half per semester and the portal will be opened until two weeks to exams. Therefore, starting from this semester, while resuming, students are to bring half of the school fees amount base on their various departments"
Now, this is what we asked for, and we have gotten what we wanted. It is now left for us to tighten up our belts towards finding the required amount of money to pay our school fees, " two weeks before exams "
The SUG President in a special way, appreciate the students on their well behaved attitude through out this trying times. He equally appreciate the students for their maximum cooperation and believing in him all the while. He commends the effort of his exco and appointees who stood by him through out this time. And he pray that the good Lord will open ways for every student to pay up his or her fees.
