[2/3, 10:46 AM] Musa Attah Mama: What if
What if poetry is like a tribe
Just like an Igbo flute
Mixed with an oghene
Twisted like a taliya
Yummy with a touch of yaji
What if poetry is like a tribe
Maybe black and smooth like Amala
It might draw attention like an okro soup
Made from my village, the type whch my grandmother used to stir with her neat broom
What if poetry is like a talking drum
Where it gets to speak you stylishly
~Attah Mama Musa
Musa Attah Mama: This is coming from my heart
I thought we are together
I gave you my trust
I always stick to you
You directed me to other places
I still sticked to you
When I'm down
When I'm weak
I ran to your side
You are different from others
I cannot share you with others
But this time around
You disappointed me
I was heart broken
Only for me to come to your shop
You told me....
You told me garri has finish
~Attah Mama Musa
