SUG FEDERAL UNIVERSITY WUKARI TASKS STUDENTS ON THE NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ON NIGERIA AT 62.
As Nigeria celebrates her 62 years of total emancipation from colonial rule, the Students' Union Government, Federal University Wukari under the aegis of Rt. Comr. Audu Buvini Samson has continued to implore students of the university on the dire need to take responsibility in every areas of their lives.
This was contained in a Felicitation Note signed by the union to commemorate this year's Nigeria's Independence day.
The SUG boss in a statement congratulated the Nigerian nation state for coming this far, inspite myriads of disturbing national issues, that have threatened the peace and development of the country. He lamented the ongoing industry action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which has affected his colleagues in other universities, calling on the government to expedite efforts in resolving the conflict.
He succinctly admonished students to take responsibility by taking care of all public facilities entrusted in their care. The president implored students to envision the university campus as a microcosm of the country, thereby protecting all public facilities in their care and remaining law abiding citizens of the university and the nation at large.
Happy Independence day Crocs.
