How do you rate 3.0 GPA

 

What academic department are you in?

In most postgraduate programs, a 3.0 GPA is terrible. Most grad schools require their students to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to remain in good academic standing. Anything lower, and you’re in danger of being dismissed from the university.

But that is not true of all academic departments.

In some  schools, for instance, 3.0 is a respectable GPA and places you at around the middle of the class.
